答：昨天說過，as well as之後的動詞，可用ing形式，recording這寫法當然正確。但to record正不正確？答案也頗紛紜。
朗文出版社的英文文法Longman English Grammar說：When used as conjunctions, "as well as", "but", "except" and "than" can be followed by a bare infinitive（作連接詞，as well as、but、except、than之後，可用不帶to原形動詞）。英語學者Michael Swan的Practical English Usage也說：When we put a verb after "as well as", we most often use the -ing form. After an infinitive in the main clause, an infinitive without "to" is possible（As well as之後，動詞多用ing形式；如主要子句動詞是原形，則as well as之後也可用不帶to原形動詞）。例子是：I have to feed the animals as well as look after the children（我得餵動物，並照顧孩子）。
不過，as well as之後的原形動詞，其實帶to也可以。英語學者B A Phythian的英文正誤詞典A Concise Dictionary of Correct English就說，以下一句，making和前文的to pack不一致，不如改為to make或make：Their job is to pack biscuits as well as making them（他們的工作，是製造和包裝餅乾）。韋氏英文用法詞典Webster's Dictionary of English Usage也收錄了類似例子。可見讀者那一句，用to record也正確。
