紅透兩岸的古裝片《甄嬛傳》將闖美國！這部76集長劇據悉將被美國製作方剪輯成長約兩個鐘的「電視電影」六部，但是螢幕中文複雜的宮廷稱呼、文縐縐且一語雙關的台詞變成英文會怎樣？網友先試身手，各種神繙譯令人捧腹。甄嬛譯成「Real Ring」（真環），甚至「Real bad」（真壞），曹貴人叫「Cao so expensive」（曹很貴），大反派華妃乾脆譯成「Hua fly」（華飛）。經典台詞如「這真真是極好的」被譯成「This really really good enough」，「賤人就是矯情」繙譯為「Bitch is so bitch」，「賞你一丈紅」（原意杖打臀部下方）則成「Give you a 3.3333 meters red」。難怪扮演皇后的蔡少芬在微博說：「oh no！」
