Everyonenowputtheirbackintoshiftingtherubble.Butastheystruggled,theywereinconstantdangerfromtherebelsoutside,whokeptupanincessantbarrageofshots.Forty-fiveminutespassed,andpartsofCapper'sbodywerefree.Anotherfifteenminutespassed,andCapperwaspulledout.Hesatupandgasped,"See,Itoldyou,it'spossible--ifyoutry!"

一個在場者說：「不可能救他出來了。」但卡珀堅持說：「你們盡力，就做得到！」
大家於是奮力搬開瓦礫，但外面叛兵不斷發砲，危險非常。四十五分鐘之後，卡珀部分身軀給挖出來了。又過了十五分鐘，卡珀給拖了出來。他坐起身，喘着氣說：「我不是說嗎，你們努力，就做得到！」
