Thefollowingday,hisdaughterwasreturnedtohim,andafewdayslateracarriage,escortedbyRoyalistcavalry,pulledintoHullunderaflagoftruce.InsidewasAnneFairfax,returnedtoherhusbandbytheEarlofNewcastle.
