"Ononeoccasion,agasvanarrivedfullofwomen.Whentheusualprocedurewasoverandtheshoutingandbanginghaddieddown,thedoorwasopened.Afterthefumeshadcleared,thevanwasseentobefullofnakedgirls.
"Thereweremorethanahundredofthem,pressedtightlytogether.Theyallhadtheirhairdoneupinscarves,aswomendowhentheytakeabath.Theyhadprobablybeentoldwhentheywereputintothevanthattheywereontheirwaytothebaths.ThedrunkenGermanshooted＊withlaughter,explainingthattheywerewaitressesfromtheKievnightclubs."
在納粹德國佔領的烏克蘭，烏克蘭人遭集體處決，用的有時是毒氣貨車。烏克蘭作家阿納托利．庫茲涅佐夫筆下有一段記載：
「有一次，一輛滿載女人的毒氣貨車開到，然後是例行的手續。呼叫聲和拍打車廂聲終於沉寂。車門開處，毒煙散去，只見車上滿是裸體女郎。
「她們有百多人，緊緊擠在一起，全部用頭巾束起頭髮，一如女人沐浴時的樣子。她們上車時，當局大概是說要送她們去澡堂。在場的德國人醉醺醺，得意洋洋，哈哈大笑，說這些女郎是基輔夜總會的服務員。」
