「幸福」和「快樂」英文是什麼？「快樂，因為計較的少」英文怎樣翻譯才好？
「幸福」、「快樂」，英文都可譯做happy：第七版《牛津高階英漢雙解詞典》happy條下就有這兩個譯法。「幸福的婚姻」、「快樂的生活」英文是ahappymarriage和ahappylife。Joyous、blissful、felicitous等不少字固然也可以指「快樂」或「幸福」，但都沒有happy那麼通用。
「快樂，因為計較的少」可譯做Happinessstemsfromanuncalculatingframeofmind。Calculating指「精於算計的」，有貶義；stemfrom即「由……產生」，是動詞片語（phrasalverb），例如：（1）Histroublesstemfromhisunhappymarriage（他的煩惱來自不幸福的婚姻）。（2）Don'ttrustafriendwhoissocalculating（不要信任這樣精於算計的朋友）。
「貨不對樣」英文怎麼說？例如「那美容院貨不對樣」。
「貨不對樣」，嚴格而言，是指thegoodsdelivereddonotmatchthesamples或thegoodsdeliveredarenotuptothesamples；引伸其義，是指沒有實踐諾言，可譯做tofailtodeliverwhatispromised，例如：（1）Iamsorrytohavetoinformyouthatasubstantialportionofthechildren'sweardeliveredtousisnotuptothesampleswereceivedon3May（貴公司送來之童裝，大部分質素差於五月三日示下之貨樣，特修書奉告）。（2）Thetourcompanyfailedtodeliverwhatwaspromisedinitsbrochures（旅遊公司沒有兌現其宣傳小冊子所說的）。「美容院貨不對樣」可譯做Thebeautysalonfailedtodeliverwhatitpromised。
