Idon'tliketogotothesupermarket（我不喜歡上超級市場）一語，聽者假如要說「我也不喜歡」，英文是不是Meeither？
要說「也不」，可用neither、nor或not...either等字，例如：（1）"Ican'taffordtorunevenasmallcar.""NeithercanI/NorcanI/Ican't,either."（「我連一輛小型汽車都用不起。」「我也是。」（2）"I'venevermetsuchanextraordinarywoman.""NeitherhaveI/NorhaveI/Ihaven't,either."（「我從沒見過這樣不尋常的女人。」「我也是。」）
此外，隨便的口頭英語會用Meneither甚至Meeither來說「我也不」，例如："Ican'taffordtorunevenasamllcar.""Meneither/Meeither."讀者示下那一句，回應應是NeitherdoI、NordoI或Idon't,either，但說Meeither也不必視為錯誤。
今年高級程度會考英文題目問考生有錢會資助中國的basichealthcareandeducation（基本保健及教育）還是furtherspaceexploration。有考生認為spaceexploration指「太空開發」，有考生則認為space可指一般「空間」，所以spaceexploration即「土地開發」，哪個解釋正確？又《牛津高階英文詞典》有explorationofspace這說法，沒有spaceexploration，試題的寫法有沒有錯？
按exploration是「探索」的意思，不應解作「開發」。「土地開發」英文是landdevelopment或landreclamation。Furtherspaceexploration只能有一個解釋：「進一步的太空探索」。Explorationofspace和spaceexploration則跟headofdepartment和departmenthead（部門主管）一樣，都是正確說法。
