看英文電視節目，有時聽到Thereyougo或Hereyougo的說法，例如送禮物時也會說。那究竟是甚麼意思？
Hereyougo/are或Thereyougo/are是把東西給人家時的慣用語，有「就在這兒」的意思，例如：（1）Hereyougo,thisisthedocumentyouwanted（拿去吧，這就是你要的文件）。（2）Youaskedforhisphotograph?Thereyouare（你要他的照片？給你吧）。
Thereyougo/are還常用來表示「看，我說對了」，例如：Thereyouare!Itoldyouhewouldcome（看，我早就說他會到來）。
最近立法會選舉，有候選人給選民的英文信說：Iamanindependent-mindedperson,neitheramemberofadynastyorfollowingordersfromabove。句中的or是不是應改為nor？
這一句似乎是說「我是個思想獨立的人，既不是一個王朝的成員，行事也不聽上方命令」。那「王朝」指的是甚麼，我不能斷定；無論如何，neither和or不應這樣並用，用or就不要說neither，例如：Icouldneitherseenorhear/Icouldnotseeorhear（我看不見，也聽不到）。
但讀者說的那一句即使把or改為nor，仍然不妥，因為neither、nor之後一用名詞，一用ing動詞，文法完全不對稱。句子要像樣一點，可改寫如下：Iamanindependent-mindedpersonwhoneitherbelongstoadynastynorfollowsordersfromabove。
