TheUniversityofHongKong（香港大學）可不可以改稱為theHongKongUniversity？
大學、書院等，假如名稱中帶of一字，須冠以the，否則一般不用冠詞（article），例如：（1）HegraduatedfromStPaul'sCollege/theCollegeofStPaul'sin2002（他二○○二年畢業於聖保羅書院）。（2）TaiwanUniversity/TheUniversityofTaiwanhasawell-stockedlibrary（臺灣大學圖書館藏書甚豐）。香港大學的正式名稱是theUniversityofHongKong，簡稱是HongKongUniversity，不可說theHongKongUniversity。
大學名稱的縮寫（abbreviation）一般也不用the，例如：StudentsfromHKUwontheintervarsityfootballmatch（香港大學學生贏了這場大學校際足球比賽）。
我最近上一家教育中心補習英文，老師說Iamtallerthanher（我比她高）這句式錯誤，應改為Iamtallerthanshe(is)。但我小學開始學到的一直是Iamtallerthanher這類說法，因此十分疑惑，究竟這說法正不正確？
As和than之後的代名詞（pronoun），嚴格而言的確應用I、he、she等主格（subjectform），但由於說起來生硬，今天習慣改用me、him、her等受格（objectform），絕對不算錯，用主格反覺不大妥當，除非主格之後加一動詞，例如：（1）Iamtallerthanher/Iamtallerthansheis。（2）Sheisnotastallasme/SheisnotastallasIam（她沒有我那麼高）。一般人不會說Iamtallerthanshe、SheisnotastallasI等。
