Involve是及物動詞（transitiveverb），必須和受詞（object）連用。Thecompanyhasbeeninvolved一語，thecompany就是involved的受詞；改為Thecompanyhasactivelyinvolvedintheevent，那involved就沒有受詞，文法有誤。要改為主動語態，句子須用反身代名詞（reflexivepronoun）：Thecompanyhasactivelyinvolveditselfintheevent。謹再舉一例：Don'tbeinvolvedinofficepolitics/Don'tinvolveyourselfinofficepolitics（不要參與辦公室內鈎心鬥角事務）。
