Iamhome和Iamathome有分別嗎？
Iamhome可譯作「我回家了」，home是副詞（adverb）；Iamathome則可譯作「我在家裏」，home是名詞。英式英文一般以副詞home說「回家」的動作，而以athome說「在家」的狀態，例如：（1）Iwillsoonbe/gohome（我很快會回到家裏/我很快就會回家去）。（2）Iwillbeat/stayathometomorrow（我明天會在家裏）。不過，美式英文往往把副詞home當作athome，例如：Iwillbehome/stayhometomorrow。
商場裏供傷殘者使用的廁所，或稱disabledtoilet，或稱toiletforthedisabled，究竟哪個說法正確？
兩個說法都正確。Disabled可解作「傷殘的」，也可解作「為傷殘者而設的」或「和傷殘者有關的」，例如：（1）Healwayshastheinterestsofdisabledpeopleatheart（他無時或忘的，是傷殘者的福祉）。（2）Thelawrequiresthatallpublicbuildings（should）providedisabledaccess（=provideaccessforthedisabled）（法律規定所有公共建築物須有傷殘者通道）。Toiletforthedisabled是取上述disabled的第一個意思，disabledtoilet則是取第二個意思。Isthereadisabledtoiletinthevicinity？等於Isthereatoiletforthedisabledinthevicinity？（附近有傷殘者專用的廁所嗎？）
說到thedisabled（傷殘者），有人覺得這稱呼刺耳，不夠客氣。要說得好聽一點，可改稱為peoplewithdisabilites（有殘疾的人）或peoplewithspecialneeds。（有特殊需要的人）。此外還有thephysicallychallenged（肉體上受到挑戰的人）這說法，委婉得似乎有點過份。
