Opportunity作可數（countable）或不可數（uncountable）名詞都可以，所以「平等機會政策」譯做equalopportunitypolicy或equalopportunitiespolicy都正確。「主張平等機會的雇主」同樣可譯做equalopportunityemployer或equalopportunitiesemployer，例如：Thecompanyisanequalopportunity/opportunitiesempolyeranddoesnotdiscriminateagainstanyonebecauseofrace,genderorage（公司是主張平等機會的雇主，不會因種族、性別、年齡而歧視任何人）。
「為了……目的」，英文習慣用「for+名詞/形容詞＋purposes」這寫法，那purposes必須用複數形式，例如：Heliedforpolitical/insurancepurposes（他為了政治/保險原因而說謊）。讀者示下那一句，自然也應用purposes，不宜說forrecruitmentpurpose。
