昨天說過notified、furnish兩字用法，現在談讀者提出的第三點：therequisteCRErequirements是不是應刪去requisite一字？按requisite是「必要的」，requirement是「條件」，requisiterequirements即「不可或缺的條件」，不算叠牀架屋說法。例如Youmustmeetatleastoneoftherequirementslistedbelow是「你必須符合下列至少一個條件」，這些條件就不是requisiterequirements。Requisiterequirements不容選擇。
那位讀者提出的最後一點，是candidateswhohavesatfortheCREheldon16December應改為candidateswhosat等等。由於句子說明考試日期，用過去式sat而不用現在完成式havesat自然正確。
此外，inviewoftheCSEUhasrecentlynotified這說法也不對。Inviewof之後應用名詞，不可直接子句（clause），例如不可說Inviewoftheweatherwasbad,westayedindoors，應說Inviewofthebadweather（或Inviewofthefactthattheweatherwasbad）,westayedindoors（由於天氣惡劣，我們留在戶內）。新聞處那句英文，應改作inviewofthefactthattheCSEUhasrecentlynotified等等。但這樣一改，句子會變得更加累贅。
