Loveandmarriagego/goestogether（愛情、婚姻是相連的）一語，老師說marriage和love合而為一，所以動詞應用goes。請問用go可不可以？
其實love、marriage絕對不必混為一談。《牛津高階英漢雙解詞典》go字條下有例句說Diseaseandpovertyoftengotogether（疾病、貧窮往往同時而至），也沒有把貧病視為一體。英文有一首流行歌，頭幾句是Loveandmarriage,loveandmarriage/Gotogetherlikeahorseandcarriage/ThisItellyoubrother/Youcan'thaveonewithouttheother（愛情和婚姻，猶如馬和馬車，有此必有彼。聽我說吧，兄弟，馬和馬車你不能只有其一）。用go字正不正確，應該不必再說。
不過，假如你把loveandmarriage視為一物，像breadandbutter（牛油麵包）那樣，文法也沒有錯。事實上，上述那首歌，也有人唱作loveandmarriagegoestogether，只是這說法較為少見。
Loveandmarriagegotogetherlikeahorseandcarriage這個比喻，嚴格而言十分拙劣，只求押韻，卻不合邏輯。馬沒有馬車是絕對可以的，只是馬車不能沒有馬。「馬和馬車不能只有其一」這說法根本不能成立。
Gotta、wanna等字，什麼時候才會使用？
Gotta（=gotto）、wanna（=wantto）、gonna（=goingto）等，都是模擬口語的拼法，只宜用於非常隨便的文字或小說等的對話之中，一般寫作切勿使用，特別是公文寫作。
