貴欄說today（今天）、tonight（今晚）等副詞（adverb）之前不用介系詞（preposition），lastnight（昨晚）之前是不是也不用？ThecomingOctober/Friday（即將來臨的那個十月/星期五）等又怎樣？
說時間的詞語，假如有last、next、this、every、each、one、all、later、yesterday、tomorrow等字，一般都不用at、in、on三個介系詞，例如：（1）Therepubliccelebrateditsbirthdaylastweek/earlythisweek（共和國上星期/本星期初慶祝國慶）。（2）Hegoestoworkeveryotherday（他隔天上班）。（3）Hetookanapeachafternoon/oneafternoon（每天下午/一天下午，他睡一會兒）。（4）Weworkedfranticallyallday（我們整天拚命工作）。（5）Hewasrushedtohospital,anddiedanhourlater（他被火速送到醫院，一小時後去世）。（6）Isawhimyesterday/thedaybeforeyesterday（我昨天/前天見到他）。
不過，上述詞語有時會和其他介系詞連用，例如：Let'sdrinkandmakemerry,foraftertoday/thiseveningwewillbethousandsofmilesapart（我們盡情喝酒取樂吧。過了今天/今晚，我們就會千里相隔）。
至於ThecomingOctober/Friday、thepreviousmonth/week（上個月/上星期）、thatday/evening（那天/那晚）等，正式應用介系詞帶出，但隨便一點可以略去，例如：（1）Theconferencewillbeheld(on)thecomingThursday（會議將於這個星期四舉行）。（2）Hehadattendedajobinterview(in)thepreviousweek（他上星期出席求職面試）。（3）Itpouredwithrain(on)thatday。
