【附注】哨兵、衞兵英文叫sentry或sentinel，例如：Withhisrifleonhisshoulder,thesentry/sentinelpacedupanddown（那衞兵把來福槍擱在肩上，來回踱步）。Sentry和sentinel兩字意思沒有分別，但sentry較為常用，sentinel則多作文學用語，或用於比喻，例如：Theoldtreestoodlikeasentinelinfrontofhishouse（那株古樹立在他家門前，像個衞兵）。
