Onone'smind和inone'smind有什麼分別？
Onone'smind指「想着（某人/某事）」，常帶憂慮含義，例如：（1）Youlookgloomytoday.What'sonyourmind?（你今天看來很憂鬱，有什麼心事？）（2）Herson,whoisonactiveserviceinIraq,isalwaysonhermind（她整天惦念着在伊拉克服兵役的兒子）。Toweigh/preyonone'smind就是「使人苦惱」，例如：Hismountingdebtsweighheavilyonhismind（越來越多的債務，令他非常煩惱）。
Inone'smind則是「在某人心裏」，沒有憂慮含義，例如：（1）Theonlylimitationstoenjoyingyourlifeareinyourmind（使你不能享受人生的因素，就在你心裏）。（2）Hernamesomehowstuckinmymind（她的名字我不知為什麼沒有忘記）。
二○○五年高級程度會考英文科有以下選擇題：Atweekends,hetransformsinto/as/from/throughasuper-poweredurinecollector,withtheauthoritytomakeworld-classathletespeeoncommand（每逢周末，他會變成超級收集小便者，有權要世界級運動員聽他指示小便）。答案是into。但tranforms（改變）是及物動詞（transitiveverb），不是應和受詞（object）連用的嗎？
查《牛津高階英漢雙解詞典》和《朗文當代高級詞典》，tranforms的不及物（intransitive）用法未見收錄，但tranforms其實和change（改變）一樣，可作不及物動詞，例如：（1）Acaterpillartransforms/changesintoabutterfly（毛蟲會變成蝴蝶）。（2）Religionseemstohavetransformed/changedhimintoanewman（宗教似乎把他變成另一個人）。
