美軍醫療船「仁慈」號昨日（周日）抵達遭戰爭蹂躪的菲律賓南部霍洛島對開海面，在菲律賓軍隊與阿蓋德旗下伊斯蘭武裝分子戰鬥的地區展開醫療任務。「仁慈」號早前在南部城市三寶顏治療過18,000個病人後，再前往霍洛島。該島既是伊斯蘭武裝分子的堡壘，也是與阿蓋德關係密切的伊斯蘭祈禱團的訓練場。
