澳洲墨爾本博物館的驚人海洋生態展覽，3歲女童加茲比周三檢視一隻10米長的巨型魷魚，魷魚的巨眼有如盯緊女童般。人類對巨型魷魚所知不多，牠可生長至18米長、300公斤重，在逾1公里深的海底生活。至今只試過一次，有巨型魷魚在自然棲息地被拍攝到。這隻巨型魷魚是由一名漁民，在澳洲南部塔斯曼尼亞島海域捕獲。
