Khrushchevwascertainlyaboor.DuringaseriesoftensenegotiationswiththeChineseCommunistleadershipinBeijing,inaroomwhichheknewwasbugged,heentertainedhiscolleagueswithobscenerhymesaboutvariousChineseCommunistleaders,includingMaoTse-tung.
英國首相哈羅德．麥米倫以沉着冷靜著稱。一九六○年九月，他有一天在聯合國演講，中途被蘇聯總理尼基塔．赫魯雪夫干擾。原來赫魯雪夫把一隻鞋子脫了下來，拿着不斷在桌子上敲。麥米倫神色自若，繼續說：「可以的話，請把這個翻譯給我聽。」
赫魯雪夫為人粗野。他曾赴北京和中共領導層多番談判，氣氛緊張，有一次在房間裏，明知有竊聽裝置，就背些淫穢打油詩跟同僚說笑，詩中詠的有毛澤東以及其他中共領袖。
【解說】Rhyme是「押韻」、「押韻的字」或「押韻的詩」。叫rhyme的詩往往不是嚴肅作品，只是順口溜之類，例如兒歌叫nurseryrhymes。
Boor出自荷蘭文的boer。Boer指「農夫」，英文借用來說「粗野的人」，例如：Heregardedallfootballstarsasboors（他把足球明星都視為粗野的漢子）。
