粵語所謂「眼冤」英文是甚麼？
「眼冤」者，見之即覺可厭可鄙也，一般可譯作adisgusting（可厭）?despicable（可鄙）sight，例如：Thegamesterbegginginthestreetmadeadespicablesight（那賭徒在街上行乞，令人眼冤）。
﹨英文還有eyesore一字，直譯是「眼傷」，指難看的東西，特別是建築物，例如：TheskyscrapertoweringabovethetraditionalChinesebuildingsisanabsoluteeyesore（那幢摩天樓矗立在傳統中國建築物之間，令人眼冤）。
此外，你可以說，Oh,thatIlivetosee(something)!（啊，我怎麼活到現在，看到（某事）！）That字用於句首，有時可表達希望、苦惱等情緒，例如：Oh,thatIwereyounger!（唉，我年輕些就好了！）Oh,thatIlivetosee的see字，當然有「眼冤」含義，Oh,thatIlivetoseemycountrygovernedbythegun!即是「啊，我怎麼活到現在，看到國家被槍桿統治！」
