WernerEhrlich,initiatorofthePlattenbau-museumofWeimar,standsinapre-fabricatedbathroomofabuildingmadewithprecastconcreteslabs,aso-calledPlattenbau,intheeasternGermantownofWeimaronThursday.ThisfirstPlattenbau-museumwillopenitsdoorsonSaturday.ThePlattenbauisthecharacteristicarchitectureoftheformerGermanDemocraticRepublic,whereaprogrammeoftheconstructionofstandardisedhabitationshasbeenstartedatthebeginningofthe1960s.
