「原來是你！」英文怎麼說？
這「原來」當然不可以直譯做originally。查《朗文當代高級辭典》so字，你會看到這個字有一個用法：「toexpressdiscovery表示發現了甚麼」。字典例句如下：「Sothat'swhatyou'vebeenuptowhileI'vebeenaway!啊！原來我不在時你在幹這樣的事！」可見so有「原來」的意思，只是一般辭典多不著錄。

接詞（conjunction），但不如說是感歎詞（interjection），習慣用於句首，例如：（1）Soitisyou!（原來是你！）（2）Sohereyouare!（原來你在這裏！）
說「在上午?下午?晚上」，英文是inthemorning/afternoon/evening；說「在某一天」，則是onthatday。要說「在某一天晚上」，介系詞應用on還是in，例如in/ontheeveningof29June?
其實morning、afternoon、evening等不一定用介系詞in。In可用來說在一般的上午、下午、晚上，或在不用再說明的一天晚上，此外morning等一般配on，例如：（1）Heusuallygoestobedearlyintheevening（他晚上通常都很早就寢）。（2）IcameacrossJohninthemorning,whenIwasgoingtowork（我早上上班，路上碰到約翰）。（3）ImethimonaJuneevening/onacoldevening/onMondayevening(=intheeveningonMonday)/ontheeveningof29June(=intheeveningon29June)（我在六月一個晚上?一個寒冷晚上?星期一晚上?六月二十九日晚上碰到他）。
