【解說】Legend是「傳說」，內容不一定真實。Accordingtolegend的另一說法是Legendhasitthat，例如：Legendhasitthattheywerebetrayedbythequeen'sperfume。Haveit（that）是「說」、「表示」的意思，這裏不妨再舉兩個例子：（1）RumourhasitthatComradeTunghashadastroke（謠言說董同志中風了）。（2）HewillhaveitthatIcheatedintheexamination（他硬說我考試作弊）。
留意flee字的用法。Flee的過去式和完成式都是fled，解作「逃避（某人、某物）」或「逃離（某地）」的時候，其後有時會用from字，但不用也可以，例如：（1）Manyfled（from）Chinain1949（一九四九年，很多人逃離中國）。（2）Theyfled（from）thefire（他們逃離火場）。
