餐廳中午供應的套餐是setlunch還是lunchset？兩個說法我都聽過。
「中午套餐」只可叫setlunch。這個set是形容詞（adjective），意思是「固定」，例如：Thealarmclockwentoffatthesettime（鬧鐘在既定的時間響起來）。Setlunch即菜式固定的午餐，例如：（1）Thatrestaurantfeaturesanewsetluncheveryday（那家餐廳的中午套餐天天不同）。（2）Doyouhaveasetlunch?（你們有中午套餐供應嗎？）
Lunchset則是「一套午飯餐具」。這個set是名詞，指「一套的東西」，例如achessset（一副西洋棋）、ateaset（一套茶具）、adinnerset（一套晚飯餐具）等。Lunchset就是「一套午飯餐具」，例如：Thelunchsetconsistsofalunchbox,apairofchopsticks,andacup（這套午飯餐具有一個飯盒、一雙筷子、一個杯）。
Ispentmanyhoursintheinternetchatroom（我在互聯網聊天室內花了幾小時）一語，in要不要改為on？
Internet這個字經常和介系詞on連用，例如：YoucanfindallsortsofinformationontheInternet（你在互聯網上可以找到各式各樣的資訊）。不過，Internetchatroom的Internet卻是作形容詞用，介系詞不應配Internet而應配room，所以須用in：IspentmanyhoursintheInternetchatroom。
留意Internet通常用大寫，但不用也可以。Idon'tliketheideaofinternetshopping即「我不喜歡網上購物」。
