Weekend（週末）這個名詞，應用哪個介系詞（preposition）帶出，in、on還是at？
和weekend連用的介系詞有at、on、during、over等，但沒有intheweekend這說法。說一般的週末，英式英語用at，美式則用on，例如：Weoftengohikingat/onweekends（我們週末常去遠足）。美式英文現在往往略去帶出時間的介系詞，所以你也會聽見人說Weoftengohikingweekends，但這是很隨便的說法，不宜用於謹嚴的寫作。
