Thisisbecause和Itisbecause用法有甚麼分別？
說原因，英文除了Thisisbecause和Itisbecause，還有Thatisbecause的說法。This/Thatisbecause即「這?那是因為」，itisbecause即「原因是」。究竟應用this、that還是it，得看和上文是否呼應，沒有公式可循。例如：Asapolitician,sheisquitepopular,butthis/thatisbecausemostpeoplecannottellthedifferencebetweenhypocrisyandvirtue（她是個頗受歡迎的政客，但這是因為多數人不能辨別偽善和美德）。這一句，改用it字，和上文似乎就太「隔」了。但請看以下一句，改用this或that都不妥當：Whydidhefail?Itwasbecauseheneverlistenedtoothers'advice（他為甚麼失敗？原因就是他從來不聽別人勸告）。
